  • Environmental issues – we host and help organise initiatives such as clean ups/litter picks
  • Allotment- we have an allotment in the beautiful Waterloo Meadows
  • Events and fundraising – we organise regular social gatherings & help out with fayres, as well as host various fundraising events
  • Community outreach – we keep up to date with newsletters, social media, etc
  • Crime – The Safer Neighbourhood Forum forms part of KCA, keeping residents aware of issues that arise in the area

Welcome to Katesgrove Community Association! We are a group of Katesgrove residents working together to make our community a better place to live. We offer events and groups throughout the year to encourage community growth; there are opportunities to clean up our environment, to garden in our allotment, to plan our events or just contribute lively discussion in our regular meetings. We meet every two months to update everyone on local issues and plan what we can do to support the character of Katesgrove and the residents of our ward!
We also aim to support the rights and interests of our community, Katesgrove Ward, by working in partnership with Reading Borough Council, Thames Valley Police and other agencies.
